You will see that a window appears as shown in the picture:
After creating a login by clicking on "New User", you can schedule an appointment and then start preparing documents to be submitted.
Once you're logged in, you will see this window screen:
While scheduling an appointment, the following window appears:
For Appointment Category, select "Biometric Enrolment" Option unless you want to place an emergency appointment.
The documents to be deposited include:
1. Biometric Enrollment Letter (received in your express entry account created)
2. Appointment Confirmation (PDF) Document from VFS received via e-mail.
3. Passport photocopy as well as original for confirmation
On the appointment day,reach 15 minutes early. At the entry gate, you and your bag will be checked for laptops, other gadgets etc.
Next, a Token will be given at the counter after asking the purpose of your visit. After that, you enter the waiting area where you have to wait until your token number is called out. When your turn comes,you've to submit your documents and then another token no. is allotted.
When you are called again, you have to give biometrics (fingerprint scanning) and your photograph is taken. The officer there will guide you about everything.
Lastly, you are given a receipt and a Biometric Card/slip. Both these things- the receipt and the card need to be preserved/maintained as you have to show the receipt when you come back for passport stamping.
The biometrics, once given by the applicant is applicable for 20 years.
